Overview
Kawa space is a space tech company that aims at making space data (Satellite imagery) accessible to everyone. Kawa’s imagery platform is aimed at making satellite data or satellite images available at affordable prices.
Problem statement
Kawa aimed at building a platform where user can task satellite imagery from multiple satellite providers in no time and at affordable costs. The onboarding procedure should be easier and smooth. The information and journey should not be overwhelming and should not put much cognitive load even if the user is familiar with tasking journey. The platform should also be transparent about the costing and delivery details. The checkout should be easy and painless. And the user only pays once the image is delivered.
My contributions
Being a small team, everyone has to wear multiple hats. So I was exposed to every part of design and product while designing the platform. From market research to building prototype, I was able to contribute to every piece of design.
